Landscaping at Esencia

Landscaping is an integral part of life at Esencia. With an aim to create a sustainable green cover with minimal maintenance, the landscaping at Esencia is planned around carefully designed parks and open areas. ADaRSH will monitor and select the type of vegetation and trees being planted within the township. The focus being on plants that will utilize less water and shall have a higher density of green cover than other townships, that shall ensure a healthier environment with better dust and pollution control.

Moreover, every block in the township is being designed around a landscaped park and every avenue will be lined with trees with lush green canopies.

What is more the walking paths shall be cocooned within a line of trees on either side to shield you from pollution as well as the vagaries of the sun.

With a choice to indulge in long walks along the green corridoors or to take a bycycle ride along the dedicated tracks the residents of Esencia shall be spoilt for choice should they wish to reconnect back with nature.

At Esencia, every attempt is being made to provide you with a pollution free green existence will make you long to spend more time outdoors.

At Esencia Emphasis is being given on selection of plant species that are:

• Water efficient and drought resistant
• Fast growing, wind firm and deep rooted
• Species that form a dense canopy.
• Indigenous and locally available
• Tolerant to air pollutants like SPM, SO2 & NOx
• With high foliage density, with larger leaf area
• Nitrogen fixing, rapidly decomposable leaf litter.

Heat Islands: Open Grid Pavements, trees with large crowns to enable large shaded
areas. Overhangs and fins in all buildings

Green Furniture: Provision for green and environfriendly street furniture such as
benches, bus stops, poles and even garbage bins.

Bicycle Tracks: Bicycle tracks to be provided in the township to promote a healthier
lifestyle and reduce carbon footprint.
